Legacy Video FAQ
What is a Legacy Video?
A Legacy Video is a video of you or a loved one telling stories, sharing family history, and giving advice to others.
Why do a Legacy Video?
We make the time to professionally capture those amazing family stories that you either don’t have the time to film, don’t have the equipment for, or simply don’t know what to do with the footage once you have it.
We all film everything with our phones these days, but then what? Where is that footage? When do you ever watch it again? How do you edit it? How good is the quality?
Is this just for older people?
NO WAY! Legacy Videos are for ANYONE and ANY AGE. Our clients have been elders leaving behind wonderful words and stories, as well as younger people talking to their young children and future grandchildren.
Who buys one of these?
You can purchase one for a loved one, or for yourself! Often family members will chip in to buy one for another family member. Do you have stories to tell? Do you want to remember your grandfather’s history? It’s up to you.
Who will see the video?
The video is for you and your family. The videos are private and up to you who you share them with.
Where is the shoot?
We can shoot wherever is comfortable to you. Our small crew typically comes to your house and sets up in your favorite place.

Tribute Video FAQ
What is a Tribute Video?
A Tribute Video is a video of you, your family members, friends, coworkers, teammates, etc. paying tribute to a loved one. Each person gets to tell stories, share memories, give advice, and express how much that person means to you. We edit them all together and voila, you have an amazing tribute video to gift to your person of honor!
We gather everyone together in one location and have a fun and lighthearted filming event where you get to talk up your chosen loved one – without them being there!
Why do a Tribute Video?
Too often we never tell people how we actually feel about them. How great a feeling would it be to hear from all of the special people in your life talking about how much you mean to them on video? ShineLight makes the time and the space for a group of you to truly honor someone in your life.
Don’t wait another day to let someone know just how special they are to you.

What is an Employee Spotlight?
An Employee Spotlight highlights the human side of your employee. These are short 1-3 minute videos that focus on showing your customers or fellow employees that there is a human behind the face.
Why do an Employee Spotlight?
People find it much easier to do business with someone that they can relate to, someone they can have a real conversation with, someone who may share something in common. Many employees are looked at as numbers, as drones in a hive trying to do their job for the next drone up the ladder. But what if your employees not only had names and faces, but also revealed a bit about who they are, what makes them tick, and what experience they want for their customers, or for their fellow employees?
Who buys one of these?
Employee Spotlights are typically purchased by companies and employers as a tool to “humanize” their staff and bring a greater connection to their businesses.
